Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Hope Stape leaves furious as she finds Sam Blakeman making friends with Stu Carpenter’s granddaughter, Eliza.
In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, the two iconic youngsters went on a date together for the very first time. Sam appeared in Hope’s apartment dressed in a suit and tie and brought a box of chocolates.
He even gave his date some words of compliment, but Hope didn’t appreciate the idea. “Just be normal. You can be normal on a date,” she stated.
“I can’t believe you wore a suit,” Hope added. As they were about to leave the house, the young woman approached Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to ask for money for the cinema tickets and popcorn.
On the other hand, Nick felt bad as he wasn’t able to witness his son’s new big step in his life. Following his involvement with Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) drug plans, Leanne (Jane Danson) and Sam threw him out of their home.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Hope Stape Gets Unappreciative Towards Sam’s New Friend
In the upcoming scenes of “Coronation Street,” Hope gets upset after finding out Sam making friends with the newcomer, Eliza.
It all starts when Stu enrolls his granddaughter in Weatherfield High as Eliza often gets bullied in her current school. When they return home after a meeting in school, Sam approaches Eliza and invites her over for a cup of tea.
On the other hand, Hope doesn’t appreciate the idea, leading her to feel mad at Eliza. Her emotions get worse when Sam offers to teach his new friend how to play chess.
Later in the week, Stu is filled with glee when he receives a confirmation email from Weatherfield High. Moreover, Yasmeen decides to organize a party for Eliza’s upcoming birthday.
When Stu tells Tyrone about the birthday plan, the latter asks Hope to list down some friends she could invite to Eliza’s party. Will Hope help Eliza with the invitation? Or will she sabotage the exciting party?

In other news, Iain MacLeod vowed to give Hope a new storyline and leave her troubled days behind. “She’s certainly not going to continue going down such a troubled path, in the short to medium to long-term,” the producer told Loose Women.
He hinted that the character would go into transition, showing some normal scenarios that happen to a pre-teenager. Moreover, MacLeod revealed a teen romance between Hope and Sam.
