Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) was first introduced to the audience last February when he started a friendship with Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) and convinced the latter to join him in the world of drugs.
The newcomer has caused several troubles in the Street, like when he let Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) live a miserable life and showered her with insults in her own home, and also betrayed his boss, Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) when he got drugs from Harvey’s supplies and sold it on his own.
Coronation Street – Jacob Hay’s Role
Jacob Hay’s role left in March when his drug-dealing with Simon ended. However, he will be back to the cobbles again and will take part in Kelly Neelan’s homelessness.
In next week’s episode, Kelly (Millie Gibson) catches the attention of a drug dealer when she spends a night in a doorway. The man offers her some free spice, which she immediately declines.
The dealer goes on his way, leaving the homeless woman fearing the worse situation. Later in the week, the man approaches Kelly again, but Jacob sends him away.
However, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) is not happy about what happened, for he also sees a dangerous man in Jacob’s character.
Will Jacob be Kelly’s new ally or another villain to get rid of?
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Mollie Gallagher Teases Upcoming Scenes With Her Character And Kelly Neelan
“Coronation Street” star Mollie Gallagher gave hints to what’s coming for Nina Lucas and Kelly Neelan as both of the characters’ storyline is rollercoaster ride.
Kelly Neelan was recently released from prison and stayed in the supported living accommodation after leaving home to give way to Leanne and Imran’s new foster kid, Elsie. She tried to make amends with Nina Lucas but failed to get the young woman’s forgiveness.
During her interview with TV Times, Mollie Gallagher revealed how Nina will approach Kelly if she knows everything Kelly had been through. “Further down the line, when she finds out what is happening with Kelly, she will realize, ‘I don’t want to keep doing this,’” she said.
“They are never going to be best friends, but it will get to a point where she has to approach things differently,” Gallagher added.
Nina’s actions will also have a great impact on her as she continues to move on with the attack.
Mollie said that she wants her character to be happy, but as her future storyline of the soap, Nina will still have bad and good days as she tries to make peace with Kelly.
Millie Gibson also expressed her thoughts regarding the upcoming scenes. According to her, Kelly is “locked into this horrible situation and can’t escape from it.”
Will Nina finally soften her heart after knowing Kelly’s homelessness?
