Avid viewers knew that Jenny and Johnny Connor took over the pub from Peter and Toyah Battersby last 2018. However, the woman was left to run the place when Johnny eternally left the cobbles during Super Soap Week in 2021. With the help of Daisy, Gemma, Sean, and Glenda, Jenny gets to maintain the Rovers Return.

In the upcoming scenes of the longest-running soap, Jenny does everything in her power to keep the Rovers running. Despite her determination, there are still some things she cannot control, including its financial crisis.

She turns to her boyfriend, Owen, and asks for some expert advice about her situation. However, she ends up disappointed when the man suggested selling the pub.

As a result, Stephen advises Jenny to have a price hike which she immediately takes into account. While the customers are not happy with how the price turns out, the Rovers Return staff are also stunned when Jenny cut their shifts.

Moreover, the pub owner thinks of some ways to encourage the residents to visit her place. With the help of Sean Tully, she hands out flyers to promote dart night. However, Jenny starts to lose hope when she spots the men enjoying darts and beers in Ed’s backyard. Later that day, the woman opens up her concerns to Daisy and states that the pub might soon meet its end.
