Coronation Street':Jenny Connor“Coronation Street” spoilers have revealed that Jenny Connor will decide about romance when 2022 starts for her suitor Leo Thompkins pursues her again despite her still grieving for Johnny.

Leo (Joe Frost) first arrived in Weatherfield to work on the sinkhole in the Platts’ garden and Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) previously arranged him on a date with her stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).

But Daisy made it clear her eyes are locked up on Daniel (Rob Mallard) and the newcomer confessed his feelings towards Jenny instead.

Jenny started a new fling with the toyboy but it ended as she still hasn’t come to terms with the death of her ex-husband Johnny (Richard Hawley) especially since she realized she still loves him after he’s gone.

Although their relationship didn’t last long, Corrie spoilers teased Leo is up to give their fling another go next week as he invites Jenny out for a drink. But is she ready to give romance another chance?

But the Rover’s landlady is still not ready to let go of her pain for Johnny as she dumps Leo’s invitation, and he tries his best to hide his disappointment.

When Daisy learns about what has happened, she confronts her mother saying she’s mad for rejecting him, but Jenny insists their age gap won’t work. But it seems like Daisy’s words do magic as Jenny changes her mind when she’s told she deserves some fun.

When Leo makes another move by inviting her to see him play rugby, Jenny apologizes for giving him a hard time reading her in their blooming relationship. Will they make up?

Despite giving her new fling a go signal, Jenny is conscious about her looks that she wakes up at 5 am to do her make-up later in the week, in which she tells Daisy she doesn’t want Leo to see her bare face.

Corrie Spoilers – Age Gap Is An Issue

But their age gap becomes an issue again when Leo shares her New Year Eve’s plans with Jenny, who realizes they have different views in life and they’re incompatible. Will she change her mind and dump Leo for good? Or will she remain to continue testing the waters in 2022 until she’s tired?

Although many viewers find Leo creepy, some are in favor of him, pointing out that he might help with Jenny’s healing process.

“Jenny and Johnny have long been over as a couple. Yes, Jenny of course still loves Johnny but that doesn’t mean she has to grieve alone. Leo seems nice. He likes Jenny and she likes him. There are no rules that say he can’t support her if he wants to. Life is short,” a fan tweeted.
