‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – What Living Is Like In No.5

Show boss Iain MacLeod revealed more about the upcoming challenges of the Brown family during his annual interview with the media.

The Corrie producer pointed out he loves Brown’s family a lot and although fans weren’t able to see as much of the children because of the pandemic, they will get to understand how it’s like inside that flat, most especially through the eyes of the child Joseph, who has been through an emotional past with the death of his mom, Katy Armstrong (Georgia May Foote).

It will highlight the challenges of parents having to feed numerous mouths without the luxury of money, with the couple giving their full attention to “four little screaming children” with Joseph being set aside.

“I must stress that Joseph is not going to turn into a classic tearaway teen. It’s a story that’s got much more vulnerability and sensitivity to it, so he’s not the new David Platt but it’s a really heartbreaking story about a kid having an incredibly hard time,” MacLeod told Digital Spy.

This storyline will also lead to a character’s reintroduction, which will bring another threat to the family’s already struggling state. Who could it be?
