Coronation Street Spoilers: Sinead Osbourne’s Death
Corrie spoilers previously confirmed McGlynn was leaving the soap. Her character ended up leaving through death, unfortunately. She ended up with cervical cancer and was also pregnant at the time. Even though it was recommended she have an abortion, she refused. She ended up giving birth early, but so far, Bertie Osbourne has been a healthy baby boy.
Tragically, the treatment for Sinead’s cancer did not work and fans were in tears watching her final days.

Corrie spoilers teased that fans hoped McGlynn would win an award for her storyline. Her scenes were so believable and she really captured the hearts of viewers everywhere. It was a devastating end to the young character’s life, but it did result in more women being tested.
Fans have said for the past several weeks that McGlynn deserved an award for her role and that happened. She won Best Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards. During her speech, she dedicated the award to anyone fighting cervical cancer as well as their loved ones. She added for them to stay strong.

According to Digital Spy, McGlynn was asked what kind of role she would like to tackle next. She is interested in being the opposite of Sinead on the British soap opera. She would like to play an evil role.
