With Corey sent to prison, Kelly was released, however is still in a prison on her own as she’s homeless now. Living rough on the streets, Stu has been her silent guardian who gives her advice and guidance. But when Stu mentioned his significance in Corey’s murder case development, nervous Kelly was tight-lipped with her involvement.

However, Corrie’s latest episode (November 22) saw Kelly’s pouring her heart out to Stu after an unexpected encounter with the vicar in the soup kitchen.

The situation demands Kelly be honest with her past as Stu catches up with her and quizzes her for her reaction. Kelly admits Billy is not a stranger, and he’s part of the past she’s running from. With Stu not being able to keep up with her revelation, Kelly confesses she’s involved with Seb’s attack although she insists she’s innocent in hurting him.

After the ITV soap aired its heartwarming scenes with Kelly and Stu, fans expressed their wish for the newcomer.
