Kelly (Millie Gibson) made her way to the cobbles when the judge decided to immediately release her from prison after her latest court trial. She stayed in the young offenders institute for a long time when her name was dragged in Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder.
As the real suspect of the crime, Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) is still enjoying his freedom, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) find a piece of incriminating evidence that proves he killed Seb. Spoilers have teased that the authorities are now planning to arrest him for the horrific attack.
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Not Guilty
When Kelly is found not guilty in her case, freedom is finally in her hands but she stays in supported living accommodation after she gave way to Elsie, the new foster kid of her foster parents, Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo), and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
In next week’s episode, Kelly tries to approach Nina Lucas and apologizes for what she did on the night of the murder, but Nina still hardens her heart.
Will Kelly still try to reach out to Nina after being rejected?
Kelly Neelan Replaces The Lost Ring Of The Late Seb Franklin
To make up for what she did on the night of the attack, Kelly Neelan finds a replacement for the lost ring of Seb Franklin.
In one of the upcoming Coronation Street episodes, Kelly will check on Nina and Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) reveals that she was frustrated that she has lost Seb’s ring.
As part of apologizing, Kelly takes a trip to York and finds a ring that looks exactly the same as Seb’s, but Nina isn’t impressed with the idea. Even if Kelly shows how sorry she was, Nina still chooses not to forgive her, which leaves Kelly downhearted.
As Nina spends time in the café, Roy (David Neilson) gives her advice to treat Kelly well, realizing how genuinely sorry she was.
In her latest interview with Inside Soap, “Coronation Street’s” star Millie Gibson shared her thoughts about her character as Kelly Neelan on the soap. She said, “Hopefully she can start to repair everything she’s lost. Trouble might follow her around for a while, but I want her to learn from her mistakes.
