Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Battersby’s Secret Gets Exposed

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) secret will be revealed next week. In upcoming scenes, she’ll get into a fight with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) because of her secrecy.

Fans may recall that Nick doesn’t want Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) to play chess anymore because of many reasons. First, he’s been neglecting his schoolwork, which caused him to fall behind. Instead of grieving and coping with his mom’s death, Sam has become obsessed with the game.

Leanne, on the other hand, doesn’t agree with Nick’s decision to ban Sam from playing chess. Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) even said that he’s great at the game. With his talent, they have decided to help the kid continue playing by organizing chess games with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) secretly.

Meanwhile, Nick comes up with another plan to cheer Sam up. He books them a trip to the local space center. However, Nick starts to become suspicious when he notices that Sam isn’t interested at all. Sam eventually comes clean that he’s been playing chess in secret.

Nick becomes furious and confronts Leanne about it. Will Leanne defend her decision? How will she explain why they all kept it a secret?

Rick’s Death Gets Exposed

Next week, Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood) death will finally be exposed. Kelly (Millie Gibson) will get upset when she gets hold of the news that the police are looking for the body of her father at Weatherfield Country’s new training ground.

She’s still hoping that Rick is alive, which is why the news that he’s already dead will shock her. Despite her hopes, the police arrive at Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria Conner’s (Samia Longchambon) flat to eventually confirm that his remains have been discovered.

Will Gary Make Another Confession?

As for Gary, his guilt will continue to eat him up. But will he confess to killing Rick? His guilt levels will rise especially when Kelly mentions how grateful she is for having him in her life.

After their conversation, Gary admits to Maria that he wants to go to the police to make an official confession. But Maria tries to convince him otherwise and argues that doing so will only ruin their lives and that of Kelly’s.
