Since the death of his mom, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), the youngster remained quiet that made Nick and the community worried sick as they have already tried different things to make Sam open up to them.
In previous episodes, Nick (Ben Price) heard Sam (Jude Riordan) talk to Hope through a walkie-talkie, but when Sam realized that his dad and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) were eavesdropping, he decided not to say a single word again.
Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Upcoming Scenes
In the upcoming scenes, Sam engages himself with chess and has been learning tricks from Mary (Patti Clare) and Roy (David Neilson). However, Nick gets disappointed with Roy for beating Sam in the game, for he believes it might hinder the child’s healing progress.
Meanwhile, Nick approaches Hope and thank the little girl for helping Sam to go out of his shell and for continuing to talk to the young man. Hope then lets Nick use her walkie-talkie to communicate with Sam, and the latter immediately responds to it, which makes Nick cry in joy.
Will Sam finally decide to end his silence and talk to people around him?
