Fans saw Nick rush to be next to Leanne’s side after she was involved in a devastating car crash. She was nearly killed after drug dealer Ronan Truman tried to run her over. He was the only person named as Leanne’s emergency contact. As she was taken off her ventilator, Nick manages to comfort Leanne. What he didn’t expect though is for Leanne to tell him that she still loved him.
And now it looks like Nick is trying to win Leanne back. He surprised both Leanne and her sister Toyah by telling them that he’s put down a deposit for an apartment along with rent for up to three months in Victoria Court.
Happy 46th birthday @emmerdale – we’d tell you to behave yourselves but we know you won’t listen! 😉#Emmerdale #HappyBirthday #Corrie pic.twitter.com/AuBMECj10A

But things will get complicated though when Nick sneaks out from his apartment to make a mysterious call. David’s girlfriend Shona overhears the conversation. David then drops a bombshell at Nick that he definitely didn’t see coming. Nick then leaves everyone behind to go visit Leanne. He tells her that unfortunately he has to leave Weatherfield and that he doesn’t know when he will be back. Leanne is devastated with the news as she wants him to stay and of course, settle down with her once and for all.
