Coronation Street Spoilers: Nick Tilsley Rejected By His Own Family Over Leanne

It looks like Leanne Battersby is definitely causing problems for everyone in Weatherfield lately. Not only did she cause problems for Steve and Tracy right before their wedding, but now it looks like she might be the reason why Nick Tilsley’s family wants nothing to do with him anymore. As a matter of fact, new Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Nick is being rejected by his own family over Leanne.

According to new teasers, Nick returned to the scene last night after being called by the police as Leanne’s emergency contact. She was hit by drug dealer Ronan Truman’s car and ended up in the hospital. Nick was the only person available to be by his ex-wife’s side during this very traumatic time for her.

And while Leanne is in bad shape, this puts Nick in a very tricky situation. Even though the two were teenage sweethearts, Nick ended up marrying Carla Connor. And now it looks like his heart knows what it wants, but it might not be the best decision for him. At least not according to his family members.

Actor Ben Price, who plays Nick on the show, told Britain’s The Sun, “Leanne has me as her point of contact after her accident and the hospital ring. I think he doesn’t contact his family because I think when he left, for him there’s no middle ground. There is no chatting to mum or gran or brother, he has to completely step away as soon as contact is made he comes back. So as soon as the contact’s made that I’m the person they need to contact when Leanne has an accident, he’s back in.”
