Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Paul Foreman asks Billy a jaw-dropping question.
In the previous episodes of the longest-running soap, Paul broke Gemma’s heart when he came clean about his Motor Neuron Disease. It all started when the man was having second thoughts to join his twin sister’s wedding. Though he made it through the aisle, Gemma was convinced that something was wrong with Paul when he delivered his touching speech. When she finally confronted her brother, Paul stated that he is dying due to the disease.
Moreover, the man’s condition has gotten worse and he often fell to the ground after losing his balance. Billy then encouraged him to join an MND support group, to which Paul immediately agreed. In the group, the man met Shelly, who kept on giving him inspiring advice. One day, she told Paul to do whatever he wanted to do before it’s too late.

As a result, Paul was enlightened with the idea and told Billy about Shelly’s advice. When the man stated that he has something to ask, Billy got excited as he was thinking that Paul will soon ask for a marriage proposal.

When Paul steps foot in the apartment, Billy immediately opens up about the question. On the other hand, Billy tries to comfort the love of his life and vows to be with him every step of the way. When Paul opens up about his difficult decision, Billy realizes that the man is not asking for his hand. Meanwhile, Paul finally drops the question, asking Billy to help him end his life.
Will Billy agree to Paul’s request?
Coronation Street Spoilers – Daniel Brocklebank Talks About His Current Storyline
During his recent interview, Daniel Brocklebank opened up about his character’s decision to commit suicide. “Billy is absolutely horrified. It not only goes against his own personal moral stance, but also his role as an Archdeacon is very much about celebrating the life they’ve got left rather than terminating it,” he told Metro.co.uk.
“He wants them to have more time together, not less, so he’s absolutely horrified that Paul is even considering it. I think there’s a lot of reasons, both personally, professionally, and spiritually why Billy is against the assisted dying thing,” he continued.
