Coronation Street Spoilers: Phill Threatens He Won’t Let Fiz Go Without A Fight

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease the Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna) threatens Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that would go to a divorce war with Fiz in the court.

Phill learned accidentally that Fiz and Tyrone were back together, and they had been telling lies just to make Phill agree to sign their annulment papers.

After hearing Fiz and Tyrone confess to their therapists about their lies, Phill will backtrack from agreeing to sign the papers. Coronation Street spoilers reveal that when he appears at the pub, he tells Fiz:

“There’s hardly suitable for such a historic document, your declaration of independence. That’s what you want, isn’t it? To be free of me.”

When Fiz couldn’t answer him straightly, he said: “Whether you are or whether you wouldn’t, you’re not getting it either way! If you knew your history, you’d know that the original Declaration of Independence started a war, and so goes for this!”

So it looks like it will be a divorce battle in court. He tears the annulment papers and reveals to Fiz that he knows she’s back with Tyrone on the night of their wedding.

It’s going to be a difficult battle because he will charge Fiz with adultery and it will take at least a year before they start the divorce proceedings. He walked out and left the couple.

However, after the dust had settled, Phill appeared at Fiz’s house. He accepted that Fiz doesn’t love him but he wanted her to know that he treasured her dearly.

Fiz apologized sincerely and told him she also didn’t regret the time they spent together.

Phill then gave her the annulment papers he signed after all and bid her farewell.
