Though justice was served, the man still struggled to accept things, including his physical appearance. As he journeyed towards healing, he found comfort from an Ibiza DJ named Crystal. Little did he know, it was his friend, Daisy, who has been texting him all along.

However, despite all the multiple challenges he faced, the acid victim decided to move forward. He once approached Leanne Battersby and voiced his desire to return to the bistro. During his first day, everything went well until someone expressed her thoughts about his acid scars.
Upon hearing the insensitive comments, Leanne defended the man and hailed him a hero as he saved Daisy from the attacker.
Ryan overheard the conversation and he hurriedly went to the kitchen to get rid of the people. As a result, he decided to step away from the cobbles for a while and visit his mom in Ireland.

In the upcoming scenes of “Coronation Street,” Ryan returns to the cobbles and talks to Carla Connor about his plans. The woman then suggests making some motivational videos and posting them online. However, Ryan rejects the idea thinking that no one will watch him due to his scars.
Later in the week, Daisy tries to approach the man and start a conversation with him, but Ryan still has no heart for forgiveness.
Meanwhile, as he was alone in his flat, the man opens a parcel addressed to a fake name. He then takes out some illegal steroids and injects himself believing that it will help him boost his confidence. Will Ryan face another problem?

Earlier this year, Ryan Prescott got to voice his mind regarding his character’s traumatic experience. After the acid attack, he stated that Ryan would suffer long-term discomfort and would undergo massive changes in his lifestyle.
“Your face is the first thing you see when you get up and look in the mirror. It’s your first means of communication and it’s the thing you most readily identify with yourself. When that changes, everything changes,” he told Digital Spy.
