In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Ryan (Ryan Prescott) got involved in Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) and Justin’s (Andrew Still) drama when he protected the social media influencer against her stalker.
It all started when Daisy was about to go to her wedding, but failed to do so when she saw Justin inside the pub. The man was holding a glass full of clear liquid as he hurriedly walked towards Daisy and threw the acid at her.
However, Ryan came into the picture and caught the substance meant for the bride. In the hospital, the poor man became unresponsive after the terrible experience. On the other hand, Daisy reached out to Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and convinced her to visit Ryan. Though she was hesitant at first, Alya still went on her way to see the man. Moreover, she comforted Ryan with uplifting words and vowed to be with him every step of the way.

In the upcoming scenes of “Coronation Street,” Ryan becomes devastated after knowing his physical condition. The doctor requires the man to look at his injuries for him to be discharged from the hospital. After taking a peek at his burned face, the surgeon then revealed that he is far from healing. As a result, Ryan needs to undergo a skin graft.
Later that day, Daisy accompanies Carla (Alison King) to the hospital, however, all they ever find is an empty room. The moment they know that Ryan’s backpack is gone, they immediately organize a search party. After casting around here and there, the two women finally find Ryan in the tram station. Daisy and Carla then express their concerns when seeing the man wrapped in trauma.
Will Ryan gain his confidence back? Or will he finally decide to leave the cobbles for good?

Following the traumatic episode, Ryan Prescott talked about how his character embraced its terrible situation. “It’s going to change his life forever because it changes the way he interacts with the world. The difficulty within the parameters of soap is to show some kind of reality of the longevity of what it means to be an acid attack survivor. The restoration and recovery period are so long – if not life-long,” he told Digital Spy.
