Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) will finally meet Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) face-to-face at the prison. He’ll get permission to visit the man who killed his mother. How will their meeting go?
Fans may recall that Harvey killed Sam’s mum, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac). The young man has been trying to get permission from Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) to visit Harvey in prison. His father initially refused, but because of Sam’s persistence, Nick eventually agreed to take him there. Harvey was also irritated by Sam’s letters. But he eventually agreed to meet him for the first time.
Sam was caught by surprise when Harvey started to talk about his past. He shared that his mother died when he was just 14 years old. Later on in the conversation, Sam says that the death of Harvey’s mother was what caused him to go off the rails.
Sam asks more questions, wanting to understand what happened to Harvey and why he did what he did. But the latter starts to get annoyed and decides to return to his prison cell. He decides to pick up one of Sam’s letters and read the questions he listed down for him. After a few days, Harvey reaches out and asks to see Sam again. What will happen next? Why does Harvey want to see Sam again?
Coronation Street Spoilers – Hope Earns From Killer Father’s True Crime Book
Elsewhere, Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) will continue to profit from the book about his killer father, John Stape (Graham Hawley). Tyrone Dobbs tried to hide a stack of true crime books in the outhouse to prevent others from buying and reading them. But Hope found them and sold some of the copies.
When Tyrone asked her about the books, she lied and said that she had thrown them into the bin. Later on, she confides in Sam that she sold the books and earned £75. Hope’s plans don’t stop there. She joins a group chat called Legacy of Evil and announces that she’ll pay tribute to her late father in school the next day.
Hope steals a hammer from Tyrone’s toolbox, and she hides her earnings at home. She brings the hammer the next day to school. Hope thinks that she’s been impressing people, but she gets disappointed when she overhears some popular Year 11 girls making fun of her.
She pulls the hammer from her bag and rushes to the other girls. What will Hope do? Is she going down the same path as her killer father?
