Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has claimed his third victim. In upcoming scenes, the show will feature the aftermath of Rufus Donahue’s (Steven Meo) murder.
Stephen is in a state of panic as he attempts to evade detection after murdering his business competitor, Rufus Donahue, in a series of events that unfolded recently. In the latest episode (April 14th), Rufus was discovered lifeless in his pool, and subsequent flashbacks revealed that Stephen was responsible for his untimely demise.
In a flashback scene, Stephen went to Rufus’ house and spiked his drink. He then held the latter’s head underwater, which caused his death by drowning.
Stephen had grown weary of Rufus’s threats to expose him and had resorted to taking extreme measures to get rid of him. Next week, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) gives his take on Rufus’ death. He theorizes that the latter died after drunkenly falling into the swimming pool.
Stephen is pleased to hear Michael’s theory about Rufus’ death. He hopes that the police feels the same way too, giving him an easy pass for what he’s done.
