Stephen is one of the most hated characters in the ITV soap due to his villainous role. From killing the father and son, Leo and Teddy, to drugging Carla Connor with LSD, he managed to save himself from any legal actions.
Lately, he ended up in a hospital bed when he hit his head during his commotion with Tim Metcalfe. The physical fight started when the loving son discovered Stephen’s evil plans against Elaine Jones.
Aside from all those shenanigans, the iconic villain ended one more life when his undesirable acts were about to be exposed.
The businessman, Rufus Donahue, once confronted the man and threatened to announce his awful deeds. As a result, Stephen put a vial of LSD in Rufus’ drink and drowned him in the pool.
Once again, he got to escape from the crime when the authorities announced it as an accident.

Later that day, he returns to the place alongside the rest of the Underworld factory workers.
Another guilty feeling arises when he listens to Jools’ emotional speech about his father. As he couldn’t contain his emotions, Stephen steps away from the scene leaving Carla and Rufus’ wife, Lou, wondering about his behavior.
Due to his actions, the villain begins to show some visible signs of the crime.

When he takes a look at the object, the iconic villain gets a jaw-dropping moment as he recognizes the pin as his own. Things get worse when Lou vows to show the piece of evidence to the police.
