Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Steve McDonald is up to confront Dev Alahan after discovering that the two have been exchanging messages.

In a funny twist of events, the cab driver Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) strongly believes his wife is cheating on him with Dev (Jimmi Harkishin).

In upcoming episodes early next week, the ITV soap explores more on Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) romance storyline which sparks conflict in Weatherfield.

It all starts when Aadi fancies Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Corrie viewers know this guy’s inexperience with girls.

Aadi asks his dad Dev for a tip on how to win a girl’s heart, and Dev encourages Aadi to just confess to the girl.

Still aren’t sure about what to do, Aadi confides with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) which thrills the latter and vows to help him.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Tracy Barlow Gets The Wrong Idea

However, the conflict starts when Amy’s mother, Tracy, sees the two enjoying each other’s company and believes they are secretly dating.

Although Amy is quick to clarify nothing’s going on between them, Tracy didn’t buy what she said.

When Aadi updates his father that the girl he likes accepted his date invitation, Dev prepares a “date hamper” for the two to enjoy.

Seeing what Dev is up to, Tracy is more convinced that her suspicions about Aadi and Amy were true. Tracy tells Dev that Amy is the girl Aadi’s referring to all this time.

The two agree not to tell Steve about Aadi and Amy’s blossoming relationship, believing it was the reason the couple kept it from everyone from the start.

But Steve falls victim to Tracy and Dev’s assumptions when he sees Dev’s message on Tracy’s phone.

Dev is up for trouble as Steve angrily confronts him on the cobbles.

How will Aadi handle the situation? Will this pressure him to confess it was Summer that he likes instead?

Next week, Corrie viewers will finally witness Aadi taking risks in love as he musters all the courage to ask Summer out.

When Summer tries on her bridesmaid’s dress, she worries she’s gained weight to ruin the look. But Aadi comes to offer her some diabetic-friendly cookies and compliments her with the dress.

In the light-hearted scene, Aadi confesses he’d miss her if something would happen to her, to which she replies she too would react the same way.

Aadi doesn’t know how to hide his feelings as he can’t contain his happiness, so he rushes outside.

Later, Aadi finally asks Summer for a date, and surprisingly, Summer suggests they should plan for it, as it is their first.

But it seems like their relationship is doomed from the start when Aadi, Summer, and Amy witness Steve confronting Dev for the messages he saw on Tracy’s phone?

Can Aadi still redeem himself to Summer?
