The ITV soap’s official website teased, “Are you ready to discover the identity of the shadowy figure who sabotaged the roof of Underworld, killing Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia)? Next week it will be revealed whether it is Gary, Nick or Robert who has been living with the guilt of this deadly secret. Will someone get away with murder?”
Viewers of the soap have been promised big upcoming episodes as the show moves to a 9 p.m. time-slot beginning on May 27. Fans of “Coronation Street” will finally know who the culprit is behind the roof collapse. Originally, the show confirmed six suspects for the roof disaster.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Some Suspects Have Been Eliminated
The first one on the list was Carla Conner (Alison King) who forced the factory to shut down on the day of the incident. She also ignored glaring signs that the factory roof was already damaged, which placed the workers’ lives at risk.
The next one on the list was Nick. He once told David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) that he’d rather see the factory go up in smoke after finding out that Carla planned to cut him out of the factory business.
Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) was also a key suspect. He was rejected publicly by Carla and some thought that he may have taken revenge by sabotaging the factory to hit back at Carla.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Fans Will Soon Discover Real Villain
Robert was also included in the suspect list as he blamed Carla for planting doubts in Michelle’s mind, which caused to their breakup. He went as far as threatening Carla to watch her back.
The next one on the list is Gary. He did some sub-par work on the Underworld roof. He had some financial problems at that time so he cut corners to complete the job. His poor workmanship could be the reason behind the roof collapse. The last suspect was Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
Fans of “Coronation Street” will soon discover the real villain. However, a spokesperson of the show said, “Viewers will learn the truth, although the rest of the Street still has a little way to go before they clock on. It’s a story that is going to run and run, and the outcome is not going to be cut and dried.”
