Coronation Street Releases Week-Long Episodes Amid Euro 2020
The soap recently released three new episodes at once on the ITV Hub because of the disruption caused by Euro 2020. It means viewers can watch the soap’s week’s worth of episodes ahead of their regular schedule.
In upcoming scenes for Sunday’s episode, Todd and Billy will go on a lunch date with Summer to celebrate Father’s Day. Summer wants to spend time with both of them to show that she values them. However, Todd and Billy will notice that she’s still not her usual self especially after the trauma she’s been through in the past weeks.
Summer constantly goes to the bathroom during lunch and she ends up leaving early. She lies to Todd and Billy and says she needs to do her exam revision just so she could leave early.

Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) has taken a toll on Summer’s health after getting diagnosed with anxiety. Fans may recall that she was with Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his pals the night Seb and Nina got attacked. But she went home long before the attack took place. Since then, Summer has been traumatized by the incident. She continues to wonder if things had been different if she stayed that night.

After Summer leaves, Todd takes the opportunity to be closer with Billy again and tells him that he wants to move back to the flat with them. The pair head home and find an unconscious Summer. The young girl suffers a dizzy spell and collapses on the floor.

With Summer’s current health condition, Billy won’t have any time to think about their living arrangements. Billy wants to have Summer checked by a doctor. He then tells Todd that this isn’t the best time to discuss his plan to move back in, which will leave the latter bitterly disappointed.

Corry’s bosses hinted that viewers need to keep an eye out for Todd over the coming weeks. The soap will revisit his rivalry with Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) over Billy’s affections.
The show’s producer, Iain MacLeod teased that the ruthless tactics that Todd used to win back Billy would be exposed.
“He will ultimately and temporarily look like he’s got everything he wants. Unfortunately, the lengths that Todd has gone to in order to get what he wants will be the very thing that will be his undoing in the end,” MacLeod said in an interview.
