In the past episodes, it was seen that Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) were fighting for the custody of Baby Alfie. The problem arose when Imran bribed Ben to tell everyone that Abi Webster (Sally Carman) was using illegal drugs. When Abi told Kelly (Millie Gibson) that Imran paid somebody to lie in the court, the youngster confronted and convinced the solicitor to tell the truth. Imran then realized his mistake and vowed to make things right.

However, when the truth finally burst, the furious Toyah couldn’t control her emotions and crashed the vehicle they were in, which led Imran to eternally leave the cobbles. After the road incident, an investigation took place when the police thought about somebody had tampered with the breaks. When the CCTV was reviewed, it was seen that Toyah didn’t step on the breaks as she drove towards the building, looking like she did the accident on purpose.

Toyah Battersby Denies The Allegations Of Killing Her Husband

In the recent episode, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) was questioned by the authorities and he revealed some details about Toyah, like her desperation of having a child. Meanwhile, Weatherfield residents wept as they sent Imran to his final resting place. During the funeral, Toyah delivered a sincere eulogy, hoping that her husband had survived the crash and not her.
