Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Toyah Battersby has gone from the eyes of Weatherfield after Imran Habeeb’s funeral, which led the residents to think she’s blameworthy.

Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) are happily married despite the legal issues they have to deal with against Abi Webster (Sally Carman) regarding the custody of Baby Alfie. It seemed like the court was on the side of the couple when Imran bribed Ben to tell everyone about Abi’s use of illegal drugs, which made the latter decide to flee from the country together with her son.

When Abi told Kelly (Millie Gibson) that Imran paid Ben to lie in the court, the youngster confronted and convinced the solicitor to tell the truth. Imran then realized his mistake and vowed to make things right. When the truth finally burst, the furious Toyah couldn’t control her emotions and crashed the vehicle they were in, leading to Imran’s death.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Toyah Battersby Visits the Authorities After Imran Habeeb’s Funeral

After the road incident, an investigation took place when the police thought about somebody had tampered with the breaks. However, when the CCTV was reviewed, it was seen that Toyah didn’t step on the breaks as she drove towards the building, looking like she did the accident on purpose.

The Weatherfield residents allegedly blamed Toyah for her husband’s death, but she remained strong for Imran’s funeral and delivered a sincere eulogy, hoping that her husband had survived the crash and not her. When the service was over, Toyah felt eaten by guilt and visited DS Swain to talk about something.

In the recent episode (June 8), Toyah was already the talk of the town as the residents believed that she did the crash on purpose which led to Imran’s death. After the funeral, the widow seemed to refuse to face the world as she continued to mourn over her husband’s passing, which made the people think that the woman is guilty.

Before the episode ended, it was revealed that Toyah was hiding in a builder’s yard, crying her heart out and bothered by everything that had happened. Now that all eyes are on her, what will she do to clear her name? Does she really have anything to do with Imran’s death?
