“Coronation Street” spoilers reveal Tracie Bennett has shared photos of her at the Cobbles on her social media account confirming her character, Sharon Bentley’s on-screen departure.

Last week on the long-running Corrie soap, Sharon’s court testimony shocker rocked the viewers and left Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) stunned as Sharon testified against nephew Harvey Gaskell’s (Will Mellor).

She exposed Harvey’s drug-dealing business and how he threatened witnesses including Leanne in a recent gunshot that almost harmed Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and son Sam. Sharon even detailed how the drug leader recruits vulnerable youngsters, leading the court to give Harvey a guilty verdict.

On Friday’s double bill, Sharon (Tracie Bennett) bid farewell for the second time, since she returned this year after being 22 years away from the ITV soap, as the betrayer left Weatherfield to start a new life.

At the end of the episodes, Tracie hopped on Twitter to share behind-the-scenes photos with the caption: “I had just shot my very last scene ⁦⁦@itvcorrie ⁩ for a while &went to dressing room to change.”

But it seems like Tracie’s tweet hinted at her possible return in the future as she closed her message with: “We do our best for everyone. See you soon. ‘Av it.”

Coronation Street viewers have known Sharon’s testimony at the court was not heartfelt as she met up with one of Harvey’s thugs no sooner when the court hearing ended.

When the drug dealer worried to have no leader over them, Sharon announced she will take over and that she needed him to spread the news. But the thug confronted her about their financial need to be running the empire and Sharon assured him she already secured the money.

She then tried to con her surrogate mother Rita (Barbara Knox) to hand over the £10k she previously asked to fund her for living her new life somewhere else.

However, the joke was on Sharon when Rita took back her cash and sent Sharon away, penniless. Although they quarreled for the last time, Sharon shared an emotional moment with her foster mom.

“I just want to say, I’m still grateful you gave me this chance to rebuild my life. One day, I’ll prove to you that you can trust me,” Sharon promised Rita.
