“Coronation Street” spoilers hint that Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) will make a shocking confession to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson). She’ll admit that she slept with someone else on New Year’s Eve. Not only will Steve be caught off guard by the revelation, he’ll also be shocked when he finds out who his wife slept with.

It has been reported that Tracy will have a new storyline and that involves sharing a night of passion with another woman. According to The Sun, Ford’s character will sleep with Sophie Webster’s (Brooke Vincent) ex-girlfriend Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher).

She’ll reportedly wake up naked and hungover, feeling guilty when she realized that she has cheated on Steve. Although the show hasn’t confirmed who the mystery person is, viewers can expect the truth to come out the following week after she gets involved in an unlikely series of events.

Leanne finds out about Tracy’s Indiscretion

Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will be left upset when Steve refuses to take Ollie to a birthday party since he’s scheduled to have Tracy’s cat chipped. Leanne will accidentally overhear Tracy beg her one night stand to keep what happened between them a secret because she doesn’t want to destroy her marriage.

Soon after, Tracy ends up trying to explain her actions to Leanne. Tracy’s daughter, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) will find her begging Leanne and storms out. According to reports, Amy will piece things together and discovers what her mother did. She’ll threaten Tracy to tell Steve or she’ll do it, instead.

Tracy Shocks Steve With The Truth

Later in the week, things will get more awkward during Sally’s hot tub party and she invites Steve and Paula. Tracy becomes obviously uneasy when Leanne continues to goad her about what she’s been up to on New Year’s Eve.

The tension between the two women grows palpable that Steve eventually demands to know the truth. Tracy will then confess to Steve that she slept with someone else. The problem grows bigger when the latter finds out who his wife slept with.

Tracy will try to defend herself and explain that it was just a one-time thing and it happened during a moment of weakness after feeling neglected for weeks.

Steve will be left devastated but he’ll admit to Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) that he still loves Tracy. However, he’s not sure if he can forgive her for what she’s done. The pair have had a rocky relationship and the question now is if their marriage can get past this new dilemma.
