Coronation Street Spoilers: Tyrone Dobbs Faces Cheating Suspicions

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) will be accused of having an affair in upcoming scenes. However, it seems like someone had the wrong end of the stick. Did Tyrone cheat on Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine)? Or is it all just a misunderstanding?

Fans know that Tyrone has a history of cheating. He had a short-lived affair with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu). But they managed to get back together and tied the knot eventually. However, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman), Tyrone’s grandmother, doesn’t believe that his marriage with Fiz is smooth sailing.

It all starts when Fiz tells Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) that her sex life with Tyrone is stuck in a rut. Sally shares that she and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) like to role-play to get things going in the bedroom and she offers Fiz to borrow something from their fancy dress box.

In the following days, Fiz informs Evelyn that she’s staying with her mother. However, the latter notices that Fiz didn’t kiss his wife goodbye. After Fiz leaves, Tyrone will suit up and leave the house. Evelyn suspects that he may be headed to meet a woman that he may be having an affair with.

Evelyn won’t tolerate it if she finds out that Tyrone is cheating. She vows to put a stop to it, so she follows him to a hotel bar. That’s when she sees him sit down with a blonde woman and squeezes her thigh. Who could this girl be? Is he really cheating on Fiz? Or is this part of the role-play that Sally suggested?

The soap has prepared a new storyline for Fiz and Tyrone. In upcoming scenes, the couple will deal with an unexpected death that may trigger Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) to resume her obsession with getting to know her late father, John Stape.

Fans may recall that Hope became curious about her serial killer father, John. Tyrone bought her a chinchilla to try to distract her. However, Cilla, the chinchilla, will die once she agrees to look after Kirk Sutherland’s dog, Peanut. How will Cilla’s death affect Hope?

“Hope’s behaviour will become increasingly difficult over the course of the year but there’s also extremely light-hearted bits,” Coronation Street producer Iain Macleod said.
