‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers Weekly Update August 11-15: Carla’s Proposal, Aadi’s Police Pickup, Dorin’s Missing, & More!

Coronation Street spoilers for the week of August 11 tease Carla Connor (Alison King) makes a marriage proposal, and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) is picked up by the police. Also, Dorin Pop (Henry Meller) is missing, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) panics, and more!

Carla’s Marriage Proposal

Carla and Lisa attend a life-drawing class, but their evening takes a turn due to a new issue caused by Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin).

At the factory, a hesitant Betsy shows Carla the vest tops she has been creating, revealing that she mistakenly printed the wrong logo on them. How will Carla respond?

It doesn’t seem to be a major crisis, as later, Carla excitedly informs Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) that she plans to propose to Lisa. The following day, Carla shares with Ryan that she is expecting the delivery of an engagement ring.

Lisa Is Curious About Their Hushed Conversation

Lisa is curious about their hushed conversation, and then she presents Carla with her idea of having a ring made from Becky Swain’s (uncast) fingerprints to give to Betsy for her 18th birthday.

Carla is thrilled when the engagement ring arrives and hands it to Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) to place in Lisa’s champagne glass at The Rovers.

Carla encourages Lisa to join her at the pub for a drink, but will everything go as planned? Or will mix ups and misunderstandings take place?

Aadi’s Police Pickup

Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) finds a sad Aadi and comforts him with a hug, assuring him that she knows he never intended to hurt Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).

When Aadi confesses to Amy that he wishes they were more than just friends, Amy feels the same way, and they share a passionate kiss.

Outside, a post-coital Aadi and Amy are approached by PC Jess Haywood (Donnaleigh Bailey), who takes Aadi in for questioning.

Meanwhile, when Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) asks Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) to give Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) a job at the shop, Aadi reveals that Brody brought drugs to the party.

Bernie urges Dev to delay their honeymoon so he can mend things with Aadi, but Dev suggests that Bernie should go alone for a break, and she kisses him gently.

Dorin Pop Goes Missing

Dorin goes missing while in the care of Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), leading to a state of panic- Steve agrees to look after Dorin but ends up falling asleep.

With Dorin unaccounted for, everyone fears he might have climbed into an old fridge that has already been removed-will Dorin be found unharmed?

With Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) by his side, Steve informs Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) that he has received a copy of the flower shop’s valuation and wants his portion.

An angry Tracy suspects that Amy sent the email, while Steve decides to leave the house because he is tired of the arguments. Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) frustrates Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) by allowing Steve and Cassie to move in.

Abi Panics Over A Photo Possibly Going Online

Ty is also displeased that Fiz permits Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan) to attend a festival with Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes). Meanwhile, Abi pretends to have a migraine to enjoy some afternoon fun with Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), but she feels guilty and suggests they go for a drive instead.

Tyrone sees Carl in the car at the precinct, and Abi ducks down in her seat as Carl approaches Tyrone.

Later, Cassie jokes with Ty about a picture Hope took of his backside, but Abi panics when Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) asks to see it.

As Ty tries to convince Hope to delete the photo, she threatens to post it online-Abi tells Carl to find the phone before Hope can reach it, but has their affair been recorded?

Gary’s Temper’s Fueled, He Plots Revenge

Gary Windass (Mikey North) gets angry when he finds a distressed Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).

Theo is heartbroken after Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) shows him a leaflet for ‘Traditional Family Values’ featuring a photo of his family at Noah Hedley’s (Richard Winsor) church.

Upset about missing a date with Todd, Theo wrecks the builder’s yard and is discovered by a shocked Gary. Later, Theo begs Gary not to get involved with Noah, but Gary goes to the community centre to confront him.

Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is puzzled when she sees Gary’s location on the tracker and decides to look for him-what will Maria uncover?

Ronnie’s Wedding Idea

Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) presents a wedding concept and confides in Glenda about a dementia choir he found at the community center.

He is thinking about reserving it for his wedding to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), since Debbie is dealing with the condition. But how will Debbie respond to Ronnie’s suggestion?

The couple’s rekindled engagement occurs during the lively wedding of Dev and Bernie, but will the upcoming ceremony proceed smoothly? Or will Debbie be upset by his suggestion?

George’s Date Is Hijacked!

George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) experiences an unexpected twist that derails his date. He proudly displays his new outfit to Glenda and confesses that he has a date with a woman named Samantha.

However, at The Rovers, both Glenda and Samantha are shocked to realize they know each other from their primary school days. As the two women embrace with enthusiasm, George finds himself sidelined. Has his date ended before it even started?
