Debbie Collapses!

Kit Has His Suspicions

Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) gets into trouble next week after he interferes in his girlfriend Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) business deal. But what’s even more interesting is what he discovers about the mysterious Becky Swain (uncast).

Sarah has a terrible day when she steps in to handle an Underworld meeting, only for the client, Eli Higginson (Liam Scholes), to have just gone through a stop and search. This was done by none other than Kit, after Eli’s car was parked illegally.

When Kit shows up and Eli realizes he’s Sarah’s boyfriend, he tries to leave, but Sarah pushes Kit aside and locks Eli in the office to hear her pitch. Later, Carla Connor (Alison King) informs Sarah that Eli has been spreading rumors that she is a sexual predator.

Sarah Fumes At Kit

Carla is making things difficult for her as customers expect the same discount they gave to Eli. Sarah is furious with Kit for threatening Eli and is also upset with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) for sharing Eli’s information with Kit.

DI Costello (Daon Broni) shocks Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) by warning her to maintain professionalism with Kit, as he wouldn’t want her to be pulled down with him.

Meanwhile, Costello questions Kit about Eli’s intimidation claims but decides to assign him to desk duty, claiming it’s due to Kit’s injuries to sidestep a formal investigation.

Later, Kit shares with Sarah that he was looking into a case that he found was connected to an old case that Lisa’s late wife, Becky, was involved in.

Kit Continues To Work On The Case He Was Forbidden To

However, when he asked for the files, Costello instructed him to drop it, which of course probably made no sense to Kit, not to mention making him suspicious.

Kit has been continuing to secretly work on it, and Lisa remains unaware as she gets into another dispute with her new neighbor David over his dog barking!

What more will Kit discover-might he eventually solve the case of what really happened to Becky? Will he be able to keep his work a secret from Costello, so as not to be reprimanded?

Dee-Dee’s Surprise Kiss

Additionally, there is a romantic interest for Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), but is the potential conflict of interest too significant?

After meeting with new client Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike), whom she has met before, Dee-Dee informs Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that she has strong feelings for him but is concerned.

As the week progresses, both Ollie and Dee-Dee acknowledge their mutual attraction, yet they agree that it would be inappropriate for her to engage with a client. Nevertheless, Ollie leans in for a kiss, and Dee-Dee finds herself kissing him back.

Dee-Dee Tells Ollie To Take It Slow, And Confides In James About It

Dee-Dee expresses to Ollie her desire to take things slowly but later confides in James Bailey (Jason Callender) that despite her feelings for Ollie, she intends to maintain a professional stance. Dee-Dee fears another heartbreak, yet her feelings are increasingly strong.

When Ollie encounters Dee-Dee with baby Laila Bailey (Raiya Walton) in her stroller, Dee-Dee clarifies that Laila is her daughter.

As she proposes going out for a drink to explain further, how will Ollie respond? Will Dee-Dee and Ollie pursue a relationship in spite of a potential conflict of interest?

Brody’s recent failed attempt to escape with his younger sisters Joanie (Savanna Pennington) and Shanice Michaelis (Molly Kilduff) is soon revealed to their foster carers Tim (Joe Duttine) and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor). Tim encourages Brody to believe that social services will do what’s best for all three of them.

Brody Has To Tell His Sisters Their Mother Will Be In Prison For Four Years

Later, Brody has to inform the girls that their mother Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) has received a four-year prison sentence. Sally tries to console them, but just then, a social worker arrives with a psychologist.

They say they are pleased that the family can stay together, but suddenly, a scream is heard from the garden. What has happened; are Brody’s sisters going to be okay, or is it someone else who screams?

Unfortunately, they are caught by poor Ty in a rather revealing state; can Cassie convince Tyrone to allow Steve to move back in, or is this the breaking point? A sneak peek photo shows them totally undressed as Ty walks in on them!
