Ronnie Seeks Debbie’s Power Of Attorney

As Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) moves money from Debbie’s account to his own, she overlooks another message from his mother, Elaine Webster (Julie Gridley).

Ronnie discloses that Debbie’s friends have planned a hen party, but she is not very excited and has to pretend to be cheerful. He departs for his stag do and tells the guys that he has a meeting with a lawyer to gain power of attorney over Debbie’s finances.

Carl hides his annoyance. Later, after getting a concerning phone call, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) rushes after him.

Ben Suggests Having A Baby To Eva

Inspired by Susie Price’s (Aurora Bradshaw) wish for a baby sibling, Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) suggests the idea of having a child to Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), which unsettles her.

Maggie Driscoll’s (Pauline McLynn) curiosity is sparked when Carl informs her that he discovered Eva’s credit card in one of the Chariot Square rooms.

Fortunately, Ben quickly defends her and clarifies that Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) had taken his girlfriend there and used the card to pay for the suite.

Eva, feeling emotional, goes to the beer garden, where Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) offers comfort. She feels guilty for deceiving Ben, and he reassures her that she had no other option; what secrets are they keeping?

Lisa’s Message From Carla, Costello Improves, David Offends An Instructor

Elsewhere,  Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) gets a message from Carla Connor (Alison King) asking to be taken off No. 6’s mortgage. She then sees a picture on her social media of Carla enjoying a cocktail.

Meanwhile, DI Jeremiah Costello’s (Daon Broni) health is getting better, which annoys Becky Swain (Amy Cudden); she heads to the hospital as he is being taken to a rehab center.

She shows Lisa’s police badge to the porter, claiming she will take him from there. Additionally, Shona and David Platt (Julia Goulding, Jack P. Shepherd) go to an antenatal class, where David accidentally offends the instructor, and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) meets her supervisor.

Becky Tries To Get Lisa To Enjoy Christmas, Adam Encourages Eva To Get Her Feelings Out

Becky wants Lisa to set aside her drama and enjoy Christmas, offering to massage her neck to relieve tension. When she leans in to kiss her, how will Lisa react? Fortunately for Swarla fans, Lisa appears determined to mend her relationship with Carla and texts her to express her love.

Across the street, Adam urges Eva to express her feelings by writing a letter to release her frustration. Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) walks in on them, and Adam quickly hands Eva a jewelry box, telling her it’s her Christmas gift and he doesn’t want her to see it.

Curious Maggie Snoops In Eva’s Handbag, Carl Gets Drunk And Texts James

Maggie is curious and digs through Eva’s handbag-she feels let down to discover it’s a necklace with Alya’s name on it.

Just as she returns the gift to the box, she finds the letter and decides to use it against Eva by inviting Adam and Alya for Christmas dinner. Meanwhile, Carl gets intoxicated and sends a text to James Bailey (Nathan Graham).

He later clarifies that it was triggered by some bad news, but James threatens to inform Abi. In the corner shop flat, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is not looking forward to Christmas but is thankful to be back working with George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley).

Theo’s Invitation, Sally And The Michaelis Kids’ Trip To See Lou

Theo claims that he has extended invitations to everyone for the momentous occasion, yet he anticipates that Todd will handle all the culinary preparations.

Meanwhile, Sally Metcalfe ( Sally Dynevor) brings a sorrowful Brody Michaelis, along with Joanie and Shanice Michaelis ( Ryan Mulvey, Savanna Pennington, and Molly Kilduff), to the prison gates.

They hold up a banner in front of a security camera, hoping that Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) will catch a glimpse of it. In a delightful turn of events, Shanice is ecstatic when she picks up the phone and hears her mother’s voice.

Daniel And Bertie Bring A Gift, Tensions Arise At Dinner

When Daniel and Bertie Osbourne (Rob Mallard, Rufus Morgan-Smith) show up at the pub with a present for Megan Walsh (Beth Dixon), Maggie insists they join her for lunch- much to Will’s annoyance.

 Alya is thrilled with her gift from Adam and the idea of moving in together, while Eva discovers that her letter is gone. He takes her hand to comfort her, but Ben enters and notices their closeness.

Tensions escalate at the dinner table. Things get even more heated when Maggie gives her son a spiteful Secret Santa gift.

Lisa Worries About Carla, Carl Suggests Some Holiday Fun

Across the street, Lisa finds herself compelled to maintain a courageous demeanor as Becky plants a kiss on the nape of her neck during the gift unwrapping.

A wave of worry washes over her when she receives a text from Roy Cropper (David Neilson), informing her that Carla has not yet checked into her hotel in Lanzarote.

In the meantime, Carl suggests some holiday cheer with James, while Abi takes Alfie to pay a visit to Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).

The two men indulge in a morning filled with passion, completely oblivious to the fact that Abi is attempting to contact Carl to express her eagerness to return home.

The Shuttleworths, Christina And Summer Spend Christmas Lunch With Todd And Theo

George, Christina Boyd ( Amy Robbins), Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) make their way to the corner shop flat to enjoy Christmas lunch with Todd and Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).

The gathering starts off on the wrong foot when Summer surprises Todd with tickets to an Andrew Scott retrospective, knowing he has always had a crush on him, which infuriates Theo. As they begin a game of charades, Theo’s frustration boils over and he shatters a wine glass.

Additionally, David feels disheartened because a gift from Gail Platt (Helen Worth) has gone missing. Where could have the keepsake gone?

Evelyn Discovers A Beating Victim, Theo Surprises Todd

The happenings of Christmas Day have a significant impact on the community members, particularly for Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman), who stumbles upon a shocking scene in the alley.

She discovers a local individual who has been severely beaten and abandoned, seemingly on the brink of death. Meanwhile, Theo decides to surprise Todd with a delightful mini break, which initially brings him great joy.

However, the situation takes a turn for the worse when he discovers that this getaway coincides with an event that Summer had already arranged for him.
