Believing that Jesse is a bad match for her daughter, Audrey issues a stern warning to Gail: if she goes through with marrying Jesse, she will cut ties completely. As the week progresses, Audrey takes further action to derail Gail’s plans to move to France with Jesse.

She insists that both Jesse and David are not being truthful with Gail, but will her efforts be sufficient to halt the wedding? Gail is upset by her mother’s suspicions, and heads back home alone.

Leanne’s frustration intensifies when she learns that Nick has spent money on Christmas gifts for Toyah. Seizing the opportunity, Leanne visits the police station and presents the gifts to Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), implying that Toyah and Nick must be colluding in the supposed fraud scheme.

On Christmas Day, Toyah attempts to put her recent arrest behind her while assisting Nick in getting the Bistro ready for Gail and Jesse’s wedding celebration. Just as they start to enjoy the festivities, the police return!
