Coronation Street Spoilers – Carla Reveals Her Feelings To Lisa

When a pipe bursts and floods Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) apartment, Carla offers refuge to Lisa and her daughter, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin).

As they settle in, Carla feels uneasy upon finding documents connected to Becky Swain’s (uncast, mentioned) tragic death among Lisa’s things.

At the same time, Lisa plans a romantic lunch for Carla, but her plans are interrupted by an urgent call about an accident incident.

Although she sustains some injuries, Lisa manages to return just in time for the midnight countdown. As the new couple rings in the New Year, Carla accidentally reveals her feelings for Lisa, confessing that she loves her.

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) becomes increasingly worried about Carla’s well-being as she begins to hear voices and appears disoriented. He insists that she should return home to get some rest, but later feels compelled to visit her.

Upon entering her flat, Roy is taken aback to discover Carla lying on the living room floor, barely aware of her surroundings.

She is quickly taken to the hospital, where the doctor reveals to Roy that Carla might be experiencing sepsis, likely a result of her earlier injuries sustained during a break-in at Underworld.

Lisa arrives back at the apartment, carrying a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine, only to find that Carla is missing.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, doctors confirm Carla’s diagnosis of sepsis. She is devastated to discover that the infection has harmed her kidney, potentially requiring another transplant.

Realizing that Carla had deceived her about her situation, Lisa decides to visit her in the hospital.

When they meet, Carla insists she didn’t want to make a big deal out of her condition and asserts that she’s recovering-feeling hurt and betrayed, Lisa leaves the room.

Corrie Spoilers – Mason Helps Lisa Expose The Truth

Lisa is convinced that Matty Radcliffe (Séamus McGoff) played a role in Becky’s death. After he is released, she confronts him at the precinct, pressing him about his activities on the night of the incident. However, her inquiry is swiftly interrupted by Kit, who cautions her to drop the matter.

Later, Lisa shares some crime scene photos of Becky’s death with Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), revealing that his brothers were behind the wheel of the car that struck her.

Shocked, Mason recruits Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) to help him keep an eye on his brothers while searching their apartment; he finds a WWII helmet and gives it to Lisa.

Coronation Street Spoilers – David And Kit Clash, Bernie Intervenes

Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) steps in just as tensions rise between Kit and David, reminding Kit of David’s loyalty to Paul Foreman (Peter Ash). Meanwhile, David faces a tough time at home, where Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) put him on the spot.

Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) reveals that David stopped her from visiting Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison). Fueled by a desire for payback, David plots to confront Kit and manipulate him into admitting that he set up Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper).

Ken observes that Cassie appears to be feeling off, which triggers an emotional reaction from her as she claims to be struggling with debt after buying gifts for her family.

A few days later, Tracy and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) are taken aback to find Cassie in Steve’s dressing gown. Cassie clarifies that she spent the night caring for Ken while Steve was on a night shift.

Tracy becomes furious when Cassie playfully insinuates that she has a crush on Ken. Tracy then comes up with a plan!

Betsy feels a wave of emotion as she steps into Number 4, only to find that Mason has prepared a romantic dinner for her.

However, the mood shifts dramatically later in the week when Betsy stumbles upon messages on Mason’s phone from Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), who is tempting him with a job opportunity in Germany.
