Coronation Street spoilers and updates for the week of February 17 tease Rob Donovan’s (Marc Baylis) life’s on the line, and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) has a big decision to make.
Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) continues her cringy behavior, Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) steps up as Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) goes in the hospital, and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) keeps secrets.
Rob’s Life Is On The Line
Rob’s fate hangs in the balance after his audacious escape plan heads into action next week. But what will this perilous situation mean for his sister, Carla Connor (Alison King)? When Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) decides to visit his father, Rob, Carla advises him to be cautious.
At the same time, Rob reaches out to prison guard Mandy Waring (Rebecca Atkinson) for assistance, only to learn she’s been suspended due to their secret affair being exposed.
Mandy later informs Carla that Rob’s condition has deteriorated, but when Carla insists on speaking with a nurse, Mandy’s frustration boils over and she confronts her!
Carla Held At Gunpoint, Rob At The Bottom Of A Stairwell
The tension escalates as the storyline unfolds, revealing that Carla will soon find herself in a perilous situation, held at gunpoint by the furious Rob.
However, the scene takes a shocking turn when Rob is discovered lifeless at the foot of an office building’s stairwell. In the aftermath, DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) launches an investigation to uncover the truth behind Rob’s fate-did he survive, and will Kit unravel the mystery?
By the week’s end, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is summoned for questioning regarding the events surrounding Rob.
Meanwhile, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) catches a glimpse of Bobby on a phone call, agreeing to collect some cash for an unknown individual; he follows Bobby into the factory.
Julie Carp Returns, Daisy Continues Keeping Secrets
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) distributes flyers for a singles tea dance at her hotel to Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).
Billy agrees to go, but he quickly leaves when two men approach them for drinks; George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) scolds Todd for bringing along widower Billy, but Todd is preoccupied.
He spots his aunt Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) and wonders why she has returned; meanwhile, Ryan tells Daisy that she needs to repay Carla the money she owes her soon.
Later, Kit and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) pressure Daisy, who is pregnant, to reveal the identity of her baby’s father.
Daisy pretends she is still waiting for the information, but viewers know she has already seen the DNA results and plans to keep it a secret-will the truth come out?
Kevin Enters The Hospital
Debbie picks up Kevin for his surgery, while Abi wishes him well, masking her frustration over Jack Webster’s (Kyran Bowes) absence.
In the hospital waiting area, the atmosphere overwhelms Abi, leading her to retreat to the car park, haunted by memories of Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) last moments.
When she notices a gurney covered with a sheet, curiosity compels her to approach it, and she is left stunned when she uncovers what lies beneath; what could it be?
After his operation, Kevin awakens to find Abi missing, but the doctor reassures Debbie, Jack, and Kevin that the procedure was a success.
Abi Steps Up
Later, Debbie shares that she has arranged for Abi to see a therapist, covering the costs herself.
Meanwhile, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) drop by to see Kevin, who insists he needs Abi and attempts to leave, but Sally firmly sends him back to his bed. Abi attends her first therapy session and is taken aback to encounter someone she knows.
Eventually, she returns home and tells Kevin that her session was beneficial, and now it’s her turn to care for him. Who may have Abi seen whom she knows?
Decision Time For David Platt, As Max Turner’s Safety’s On The Line
After a challenging day, David is hit with more troubling news from Nick Tilsley (Ben Price); how will he respond? At the Rovers, David encounters Andy Garland (Andrew Goth), who presents him with yet another questionable job opportunity-will David accept this risky offer?
Meanwhile, David and Shona (Julia Goulding) pay a visit to Max Turner (Paddy Bever) in prison, sharing their plans to transfer him to a facility in Scotland for his protection.
Max remains skeptical about his safety from Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), but could their strategy succeed? And what will David’s next move be?
Cassie’s Cringy Behavior
Cassie eagerly receives a delivery of two shiny air fryers, but a scam’s afoot in her motivations. With a sly grin, she stashes one out of sight in the hallway while parading the other in front of Ken Barlow (William Roache). She cleverly pretends it was his brilliant idea to purchase it.
In a bold move, Cassie snaps photos of the air fryer and posts it on an auction site, labeling it ‘For Sale.’ Will her clever scheme go unnoticed-and what are her plans for the second one?
Chesney Isn’t Sure About The New Neighbors
Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) introduces her husband to Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston); Chesney helps Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) move furniture into their new home.
The men soon see Gemma and Lou enjoying themselves, but chaos erupts when Mick confesses to breaking Lou’s late grandmother’s vase, leading to a big argument.
With tensions rising between the new neighbors, Gemma encourages Chesney to talk to Mick and help resolve the issue-later, Mick tells Chesney he recognizes him, but Chesney is confused.
Mick says he remembers Chesney from the market where he sold dog collars-then, George confronts Mick about his loud music.
Chesney steps in, and Mick agrees to lower the volume, but Chesney remains cautious; are he and Gemma facing ongoing neighbor troubles?
