Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) dark predicament seems to be reaching a climax next week-the question remains: will Joel Deering (Calum Lill), her tormentor, finally face the consequences of his actions?

Joel, preoccupied with his costly divorce, advises his fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) to be mindful of their wedding expenses.

When Joel brings his daughter Maeve Deering (uncredited) to visit Dee-Dee at their flat, she remarks on his natural fatherly instincts.

However, a sudden text from Lauren about a leak at the flat forces Joel to bring Maeve along, as Dee-Dee has a court appointment.

As Dee-Dee receives a mysterious parcel outside the local shop, assuming it’s a present from Joel, she’s taken aback to discover it’s actually addressed to an ‘E Smith’.

Joel receives a troubling voice note from Dee-Dee at the police station, revealing that she has intercepted his delivery. He then visits Lauren, promising her a move to Ireland, and assures Dee-Dee of his undivided attention.

Later, when Lauren is mugged, Max Turner (Paddy Bever) comforts her, and Joel pretends to be concerned while secretly plotting against her.

However, when Lauren experiences severe pain and fears losing the baby, Max rushes to her aid. Will she receive the help she needs; and will Dee-Dee’s discovery lead to Joel’s downfall?

Coronation Street Spoilers: Blast From The Past Haunts Tyrone Dobbs

Somewhere else, the news about Tyrone Dobbs’s ex-girlfriend Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) could potentially shake up his marriage to Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine)!

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) inform Fiz the leader of a Romanian human trafficking group is going on trial, and Alina might be called as a witness.

Fiz later reveals to Tyrone that she found a holiday deal, but he doesn’t seem too excited; fans will remember that Tyrone left Fiz for Alina, who unfortunately had a miscarriage.

Just as Tyrone was dealing with Hope Stape’s (Isabella Flanagan) misbehavior and realizing his feelings for Fiz, Alina had a pregnancy scare.

DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) detains Abi and Kevin for questioning, presenting evidence of Abi’s presence at Stefan’s house, and Abi is distressed by Kevin’s doubts about her innocence.
