Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) informs Carla Connor (Alison King) that Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) is too frightened to go outside while Rob is still free. In response, Carla offers to take a day off to care for Betsy.

Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) observes with curiosity as Tracy takes a package in the alley, and Tracy urges Rob to leave just as Mary knocks loudly on the door.
Rob attempts to escape but collapses in pain. Tracy manages to send Mary away, only to find Rob lying on the ground. Later, Rob proposes that he and Tracy begin a new life together, leaving Tracy in shock; will she say yes?
Debbie’s Worrying Symptoms
Debbie contacts Streetcars to check on her cab and becomes angry when Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) cannot locate her booking.
Eileen reveals that she is preoccupied with the news of her sister Julie Carp’s (Katy Cavanagh) terminal cancer. This raises the question: was it Eileen’s error, or is Debbie’s memory starting to fail her?
Later in the week, Debbie learns that her hotel is experiencing electrical issues and asks Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) for assistance.
However, Mick informs her that it was a scheduled outage and that her energy company had sent her an email about it.
Debbie’s Dementia Story Begins
Debbie claims she never received the email and refuses to pay Mick, which is bound to leave him taken aback. Has Debbie made an error, and will anyone notice her struggles-including herself?
This year, Debbie is expected to be diagnosed with dementia, and with her brother Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) also facing health issues, will she open up to her family?
This is the beginning of Debbie’s dementia storyline, showing early signs of dementia prior to her later diagnosis.
Dee-Dee’s Shocking Offer
Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) appreciates Dee-Dee for continuing with her pregnancy, allowing her son Frankie Bolton (Roman Thresh) the opportunity for a normal life.
However, when James Bailey (now Jason Callender) arrives, Dee-Dee misses a hospital appointment to be with him, only to receive an urgent message from Lauren.
At the hospital, Lauren shares that another donor has been located, meaning they no longer need to wait for Dee-Dee’s baby to be born to help save Frankie’s life.
Dee-Dee then plans to have her child adopted, and she’s shocked when James offers he and his boyfriend Danny Tomlinson (Dylan Brady) could adopt her baby and provide a loving home.
Dee-Dee talks with her social worker about the adoption process and expresses her desire to meet the potential parents-but will Dee-Dee decide to let James and Danny raise her child?

Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) proposes to Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) that they create a memorial for her baby, believing it could aid her healing process. Daisy shares her idea for a small tribute with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), but he appears uninterested.
In the Rovers’ backyard, Daisy, Daniel, and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) light candles and remember Daisy’s baby. However, when Mick unexpectedly enters from the alley, Daisy becomes angry. Will Mick understand the situation he has interrupted?
Roy’s Caught Up In Cassie Plummer’s Drama
On Evelyn Plummer’s (Maureen Lipman) birthday, she insists to Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that she must help Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney). However, Cassie, struggling with addiction, is in dire need of drugs and contacts a dealer.
When Cassie meets the dealer in the precinct, Roy shows up just as the dealer reveals the drugs and threatens to call the police, and Roy winds up in the hospital!
Ken Barlow (William Roache) is appalled to hear Tracy discussing how Cassie spent the night in an alley.
He tells Tracy that her treatment of Cassie is unacceptable and wants her to leave when he returns from the Peak District; but will Evelyn be able to help Cassie this time?
