Julie Carp Dies

Next week, Julie will spend her last day with her half-sister Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) as the beloved character faces the end of her fight against Sarcoma. In a heartfelt moment, terminally ill Julie records a video on her phone, emphasizing the significance of love.

Meanwhile, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) has planned a romantic evening for Eileen to express his feelings, but she declines.

She reminds him that he was supposed to take her and Julie on a day trip to the Lakes. Instead, the sisters opt for a cab, and as they soak in the scenery, Julie expresses that there’s no place she’d rather be.

When Julie asks Eileen to fetch some snacks, Eileen returns to find Julie lying back with her eyes closed.

Eileen Finds Her Sister Passed Away

In a state of panic, Eileen checks Julie’s pulse, while back at the house, George discovers a video in which Julie urges Eileen to break off her relationship with him. This tragically turns out to be Julie’s last appearance, and as the week progresses, a heartbroken Eileen reflects on her passing.

Meanwhile, George irritates Eileen by obsessing over Julie’s words regarding their relationship. With Eileen’s departure looming in the next few weeks, could she decide to leave George behind?

Todd Targeted

In a tense turn of events, Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) confronts Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), while Todd finds himself facing the consequences of revenge.

Todd informed Eileen and Julie about a call he received from Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson), revealing that Theo is missing. Meanwhile, a drunken Theo stumbles down the street, prompting Mick to provoke him and shove him against a wall.

A shocked Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) witnesses the altercation, and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) intervenes, pulling Mick away and sending him off. As Theo breaks down in front of a sympathetic Billy, Mick is taken in for police questioning regarding an alleged assault.

Kit Green Doesn’t Properly Question Mick

It’s unclear whether this inquiry pertains to his confrontation with Theo or another incident entirely, leaving Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) anxious about interviewing the seemingly amused Mick.

Kit doesn’t ask Mick many questions and lets him go, but then Mick confronts Kit outside, hinting they need to talk, making us curious about Mick’s hold over Kit.

Later, Mick plays a prank on teen Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) by covering him in cement at the construction site, forcing Liam to laugh it off.

Meanwhile, Todd is suffering the consequences of his affair with married Theo, as Theo’s daughter Millie Silverton (Millie Gibson) visits the undertaker to confront her dad.

Dee-Dee Bonds With Baby Laila

Dee-Dee starts to connect with baby Laila Bailey (Raiya Walton). She confides in Eileen about her worries of getting too close to Laila, who is going to be adopted by her brother James (Jason Callender).

Eileen encourages Dee-Dee to trust her feelings; Ronnie sees Dee-Dee lovingly interacting with Laila and feels touched.

Dee-Dee shares with Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that she is bonding with Laila, and Alya suggests she reconsider the adoption, assuring her that James will understand eventually. Later, Dee-Dee tells her brother Michael (Ryan Russell) that she is feeling better and plans to return to work.

Dee-Dee Becomes Emotional

In the café, Dee-Dee discovers Roy Cropper (David Neilson) celebrating Hayley Cropper’s (Julie Hesmondhalgh) birthday with a beautifully lit cake, stirring deep emotions within her.

Just weeks have passed since Dee-Dee faced an emergency hysterectomy, a consequence of the staff’s racial negligence regarding her medical treatment during and after childbirth.

Did witnessing this birthday celebration stir regrets in Dee-Dee, realizing if she gives the baby to her brother she’ll only be an aunt to her? Will this moment lead Dee-Dee to reconsider her desire to become a mother to Laila?

Lauren’s Suspicious Of Bobby

Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) is suspicious of Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll). She tells him she hasn’t received more threatening texts about her secretly driving and damaging Tracy Barlow’s (Kate Ford) florist van, but she fears the blackmailer is just waiting.

Later, Bobby offers to help her find apartments, but she declines- Lauren is shocked by the local rent prices and realizes she urgently needs a job.

Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) suggests he can recommend her at Freshco, but when Lauren receives another text from the blackmailer demanding £200 or they will inform the police, she feels hopeless.

She shows the message to Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) and expresses her suspicion that Bobby might be behind it to get closer to her.

Jenny Loses Control Of The Rovers

Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) confronts the conclusion of an era at The Rovers. Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) urges Jenny to stop indulging in self-pity and to focus on the future while she still has her health.

However, as the week comes to an end, an unsettling development occurs when Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) cautiously informs Jenny that she is no longer in charge.

He now reports to Carla Connor (Alison King). Meanwhile, Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) shows potential buyers around The Rovers, trying to dissuade them as Ryan observes with suspicion; will Carla manage to sell the pub successfully?
