Coronation Street Spoilers – Who Murdered Joel Deering?
Next week, a thrilling murder mystery unfolds as the notorious villain Joel is discovered dead! With several characters acting suspiciously, the question looms: who could be the murderer?
Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) delve into the CCTV footage from a train station parking lot, where they catch a glimpse of Joel and his father, Gus Deering (Chris Garner), near a locker.
Kit confronts Gus, demanding the truth, while three young men stumble upon a body floating by the riverbank.
Craig informs Kit and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) that Joel’s body was recovered, and Kit prepares to break the news to Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) and Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).
Corrie Spoilers – Kit Is The Bearer Of Bad News
Later, Kit informs Lauren that the autopsy has determined Joel was deceased before he hit the water.
The police are now pursuing a murder investigation, and Kit presses Lauren about her whereabouts on the night of Joel’s death, which was September 27th.
Dee-Dee shares with her father Ed Bailey and uncle Ronnie Bailey that Joel was murdered, while Kit tells Lisa Joel suffered two fatal blows to the head from likely a crowbar.
Lisa is taken aback when Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) reveals that she had to eject Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) because he was in possession of a crowbar.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Lots Of Questions Surrounding Joel’s Death
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) becomes curious when her mother advises her to steer clear of Mason, prompting her to alert him that the police are investigating him.
Meanwhile, Kit catches Mason in the act of tossing a crowbar into a trash bin; Dee-Dee informs Ronnie that the authorities suspect Joel was assaulted with a crowbar.
Later, Ronnie discovers Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) scheme for a surprise 55th birthday celebration, but his cheerful mood takes a hit when Kit and a colleague interrogate him and Ed.
Ronnie maintains that he was alone at home the night Joel disappeared, while Ed asserts he was with Dee-Dee and their son Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell).
But, during the party, Michael discloses that they actually drove to the flat in his car back then-realizing Ronnie has deceived her, Debbie is left wondering what action to take.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Sam’s Emergency Room Visit
Sam Blakeman finds himself in A&E after attempting to play matchmaker. Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) informs David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) that Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) is maintaining his innocence regarding charges of blackmail and fraud, so the case will go to trial.
Later on, Sam witnesses Nick flirting with a customer and, in an effort to help, tells her that Nick is engaged.
Determined to rekindle the romance between Nick and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), Sam decides to prepare a romantic dinner.
However, while using a sharp knife, he accidentally injures his hand, leading to Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) rushing him to the hospital for stitches.
Corrie Spoilers – Nick And Leanne’s Decision
In the reflections that follow, Leanne and Nick arrive at a pivotal conclusion. With a sense of resolve, Leanne confides in Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) that it is imperative for both of them to vacate the flat, thereby offering support to Nick and Sam.
