Coronation Street Spoilers: When Will Bernie Winter Return? Gemma Needs Her Mom More Than Ever Right NowCoronation Street spoilers reveal Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) is coming back to the cobbles. The actress has already begun filming new scenes, which means that we can expect to see her in just a few weeks. So, what will happen when Bernie finally comes back? Keep reading to find out what could happen on the soap.

Bernie Winter’s Revenge

Corrie spoilers previously revealed Bernie was determined to get revenge on Kel Hinchley (Joe Alessi). As fans recall, Kel had a disturbing storyline that stemmed from Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) past. Viewers would eventually discover that Kel was a childhood sex predator and groomer, which explained a lot of Paul’s issues.

Corrie Spoilers: Leaving the Cobbles

Once the truth finally came out about Kel, Bernie couldn’t believe it. She was filled with so many emotions, including shock, guilt and rage. This led her to try and get revenge for Paul, but many of those attempts backfired. In fact, it caused a fire in Gemma Winter’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) house, which could have killed her and the quads. That is when Bernie felt it was best that she leave the area.

Gemma Winter’s Quads

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that Gemma needs her mother more than ever right now. She is a young parent of quadruplets, for one thing. She is also being bullied by other women in a baby and me group. Plus, there is the fact that baby Aled has been diagnosed as being deaf. She already needs the support of her mother and that will just intensify because of a brand new storyline coming up.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Mental Health Storyline

It is suggested that Gemma will go through a mental health crisis. Many fans are speculating that it is postpartum depression. There is a common misconception that postpartum depression only affects women right after giving birth. It is estimated that the quads are approximately four months old now. That doesn’t mean that Gemma can’t be diagnosed with the disorder, whether it cropped up late or perhaps has just gone undiagnosed all this time.

With Gemma having a mental health storyline coming up, she will need Bernie more than ever. This is a great storyline to bring awareness to a topic that so few women talk about. If it helps just one person, then it will be worth it. Let’s hope that it helps someone watching and they are able to get the treatment they need.
