Admitting Alya Nazir Was Right

Corrie spoilers reveal that next week, Yasmeen will pack her bags and leave the home she shared with Geoff. She meets up with her granddaughter and tells her that she was right about Geoff all along. Yasmeen and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) plan on going to the Spain wedding without Geoff, but he’s not going to let that happen.

Just when the two women are talking about the wedding, there is a message from Geoff on Yasmeen’s phone. She is horrified because Geoff appears to be suggesting he is going to commit suicide. She tells Alya that she must check on him. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if something happened to him.

Yasmeen Nazir Finds Blood

Corrie spoilers reveal that Yasmeen and Alya go to check on Geoff. They find a shattered photo frame on the table. There are also droplets of blood, but Geoff doesn’t appear to be anywhere in sight. This puts Yasmeen into a panic and she tells Alya that she certainly can’t go the wedding with Geoff suicidal and missing. Alya knows what Geoff is doing and becomes livid.

Yasmeen calls the police and inquires about getting information under Clare’s law.

Obviously, Geoff is faking a suicide attempt in order to get Yasmeen to stay with him. He’s gone as far as to fake heart attacks and even uses advanced gaslighting techniques on Yasmeen. In the past, it has worked. He thinks that this will work, too.

When it doesn’t could he claim that Yasmeen tried to kill him? After all, in upcoming episodes, Yasmeen is placed under arrest and eventually, goes on trial for attempted murder. Is this his way of paying her back for leaving him? When nothing else works to get her back, Geoff may resort to doing the most despicable thing possible.

Hopefully, she will be found to be the victim in this relationship, not the abuser. Fans will have to keep watching the soap to find out what happens next.
