Coronation Street star Adam Hussain has spoken more details about his character, Aadi Alahan, who will be left to die in the Alahans’ car crash horror.
When the Alahans encounter a road accident, the man of their home, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin), will decide who to save first between his twins. As Aadi (Adam Hussain) is totally wide awake after the crash, Dev saves his daughter, who is unconscious in the back seat of the car, leaving Aadi resentful.
As documented by Digital Spy, Adam revealed Aadi’s resentment towards his father and to his twin sister when he’s having a hard time letting himself free from the smoking car.

Adam shared his character will realize that he must look for himself from now on when Dev’s final answer is “help yourself” upon calling for him in getting out of the car in order for them to save Asha.
For since then, Dev has always cared less for him than Asha. He feels their father pays much attention to Asha because she got higher grades than him and that Dev just keeps him to work for him in the shop.
“Dev’s more worried for Asha because she’s unconscious, but Aadi is still there, awake right next to him, asking for help. But when Dev says ‘help yourself’, I think that forces Aadi to resent his father quite a bit,” Adam stated.
Meanwhile, actress Tanisha Gorey talked about her character Asha and her bond with Aadi. She stated that there has always been a sibling rivalry, but Aadi loves Asha so much that he supports his twin sister and wants her to always be happy.
Dev Alahan looks over for Asha most of the time because they don’t have a mother to guide her as she encounters changes as a woman.
Aadi, who always feels left out by his own family, will reach the end of his rope when Dev saves Asha first in the car crash. If Aadi survives the crash, how will the family move forward?

Hussain was having a great time witnessing the stunts being made during the car crash scene, especially when the back of the car flew off after the big lorry crashed into it.
“It was so much bigger than what I’d imagined it to be. I wasn’t quite sure how they were going to film a car crash scene. It was quite educational and pretty fun,” Adam shared.
