Alexandra Mardell joined the ITV soap back in 2018, and she bagged the trophy for the Best Newcomer in the British Soap Award and was nominated at the National Television Awards as she portrayed the character of Emma Brooker. Earlier this year, she announced her exit from the cobbles and told The Sun that she was convinced that it was already time for her to leave the soap.
In her last scene, Emma was romantically involved with Jon (Jordan Silver) despite her connection with his grandfather’s death. However, even if her boyfriend already knew the truth, Jon still took Emma’s side and suggested to start a new life with him in Australia.

After her very last scene in “Corrie,” the 28-year-old star filmed herself giving thanks to everyone in the soap for loving her character for four years. “I really have had the best time of my life and I’m so, so grateful.
