It all begins when the day of Aidan’s (Shayne Ward) funeral finally arrives. Aidan – played by Shayne Ward – took his life in a harrowing storyline that took place last month. Unfortunately, his Dad, Johnny (Richard Hawley) is a mess.

And while the residents of Weatherfield gather to take part in his funeral, it’s not without drama. Johnny bans his wife Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) from attending the funeral before showing up drunk at Liz, (Beverley Callard) place. For months now she has been a shoulder for Johnny to cry on. And now it looks like the two will be getting more than just a little up close and personal as they share a passionate kiss together.

Also, the truth about Eva, (Catherine Tyldesley) Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and little baby Susie come to light.  Toyah will take it upon herself to tell Peter (Chris Gascoyne) the truth. She tells him Susie is Eva’s baby and how their own baby had died.

Peter is absolutely devastated by the news, which is understandable. And while Toyah insists that she will do whatever it takes to make her wrong into a right, it doesn’t look like Peter is willing to forgive her. He’s making it clear that he is willing to walk away. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!

Sean’s (Antony Cotton) homeless story will begin this week.  Sean will fall on hard financial times and will be forced to leave Fiz and Tyrone’s.  Sean’s pride will stop him from asking his friends for help.
