Jude Riordan who is only 10 years old yet already famous for playing young Sam Blakeman updated his fans and announced he already wrapped up for Corrie this year.
The wunderkind posed with his arms spread having the typical Corrie red-bricks as a backdrop and captioned: “And that’s a WRAP on Sam Blakeman for 2021! Thank you everyone for supporting me. I’ve had the best year of my life.”
But fans need not fret as the actor is not leaving the cobbles, but is only having his well-deserved Christmas break, and will be back in 2022.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Other Corrie Stars
“I’ll be back on them cobbles in January. #OverAndOut,” he continued.
Other Corrie stars including his on-screen mother Rachel Leskovac who portrayed Natasha Blakeman flooded the comment section: “Well done on all your very hard work Jude – see you soon,” Rachel said. “Happy Christmas JR! See you in the New Year!” Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, told the child.
His fans expressed they were terrified for a while thinking he wouldn’t return to the soap: “The caption scared me, thought you were leaving but luckily I read it twice,” one fan commented.
“I got scared then. Can’t wait for more scenes from you!!!” another one chimed in.
To date, Sam still battles mutism after the untimely demise of his mother Natasha and hopefully, fans will see a development of his case next year.
