Coronation Street Hints Turning Point For Max Turner In 2023

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Max Turner (Paddy Bever) may face a turning point next year The teenager may finally open his eyes to Griff Reynold’s (Michael Condron) sinister plans.

Fans may recall that Griff Reynolds has been grooming Max to be part of its extremist group. He’s been taking advantage of the latter’s videography and social media skills to spread his extremist messages and propaganda. Griff also plans to use Max to recruit younger members, too.

The show has dropped some hints that Max may finally realize that Griff is willing to go to great lengths for his extremist agenda. He’ll grow concerned for the safety of his loved ones during the holiday season.

 

Coronation Street  Spoilers – Griff Reynold’s Grim Plans For The Holidays

The Weatherfield winter market, which was renamed Peace Market by Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon), will be busy as residents go shopping for the holidays. Stall owners such as Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King), Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), Daryan Zahawi (Twana Omer), and Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) are busy setting up shop.

Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) receives a concerning call from his father, who warns her not to go to the market. Meanwhile, Max starts to worry that Griff’s plan may put his friends and neighbors in danger.

Max thinks that Griff and his gang have planted a bomb at the Peace Market. The latter previously told him that the Speed Daal van was at the bottom of the canal. So he’ll worry when he finds it parked on Victoria Street. Max will start to connect the dots and realize that Griff and his associates may have planted explosives in the van. Will Max be able to stop Griff’s deadly plan?

Coronation Street  Spoilers – Corrie Bosses Opens Up About Max’s Extremism Story

Corrie bosses previously hinted that it’ll be a long-running story for Max.

“The story will encompass the ‘traditional’ recruitment techniques of extremist groups, and we’ll see Max befriended in person by older, mentor-like figures that will give him a sense of loyalty and brotherhood,” Producer Iain MacLeod said.

He added that the storyline would also tackle self-radicalizing among teenagers by watching extremist content online. MacLeod explained that they want to emphasize the need to communicate within the family and how to deal with younger members who are leaning toward extreme views.
