Viewers know that Imran and Toyah got into an accident on their way back from the police station. After their vehicle crashed into a scaffolding, Toyah sustained some injuries and Imran managed to drag her out of the vehicle.

Imran was left unscathed but his health deteriorated quickly afterward and he suffered a heart attack, leading to his death. The authorities have been suspecting that Toyah may have had something to do with the accident, which was why they opened an investigation.

Martin Hancock weighed in on his return as Spider, Toyah’s ex-boyfriend. The actor said Spider was “a bit creakier than he used to be” but “pretty similar to the Spider we all know and love”.

“The story is that Toyah’s got this protest with the council and recycling and them not meeting up to their responsibilities, and she puts a call out to the activist community and Spider answers the call,” the actor shared.

When asked if his alter ego and Toyah will get back together, he explained that the pair have always meant the world to each other and that’s something that will never change. They will always be friends.
