Coronation Street Spoilers: Alina Splits Up With Tyrone As He Can’t Move On From Fiz?

Tyrone Dobbs made it clear he’s not getting over ex-partner Fiz Stapes yet in Friday’s (July 23) installment, leaving her new pregnant partner Alina Pop discouraged.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) was overcome with jealousy as he learned his former partner Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) was invited by a new love interest Phill (Jamie Kenna) for a second date at the Bistro.

The mechanic set out on a mission to guard her ex and brought with him his pregnant girlfriend Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) to have dinner just a few tables away from the new couple to make it appear like it was a coincidence.

But Alina observed how his eyes were stuck at the two while they were enjoying their night, causing Alina to feel annoyed.

When the mechanic was intoxicated with alcohol, Alina sorted she can’t continue with his game and walked out on him to pay the bills.

However, Tyrone’s not backing out from ruining Fiz’s night and made snide comments about their expenses. As he continued to insult Phil, he was slapped with karma when Curtis (Sam Retford) told him his card was declined.

While Fiz was in the comfort room, Phil offered to pay his bill, but Tyrone didn’t buy it and tried to make a full swing to hit Phil on the face out of embarrassment. But with the influence of alcohol, he fell on the floor instead.

Arriving at the salon flat, he was faced with harsh truth by a furious Alina about him still tied to his ex. She threatened him that if he can’t let Fiz go, it would be impossible for Tyrone to live with her and their coming baby in the future.

Will Tyrone let Fiz go? Or will he break up with Alina instead?

When Tyrone was still calling the bank for his card to pay for their meal at the Bistro, Phil took the courage to speak to him while Fiz was in the bathroom.

“Tyrone, I feel we got off on the wrong foot,” Phil stated.

Tyrone stopped him from coming over and accused him of “pretending to be all nice.” However, Phil persisted and announced he’s covered Tyrone’s Bill and that he won’t tell Fiz about it.

He encouraged him to think of it as a peace offering, pointing out it won’t be easy for him and Fiz. But Tyrone insisted he won’t accept his offer.

“So you can be the big man and patronize me? You’re taking my Mrs, my kids and now you’re here flashing the cash around,” Tyrone accused Phil before trying to punch him.

Does this mean Tyrone’s all-in for taking his “Mrs” back? Will Alina give birth to their baby alone?

Meanwhile, Fiz told Phil she’s not sure if things will turn out well for them after what Tyrone did, but she’s surprised when Phil offered to stick around and find out if Fiz wants him to.

It seems like viewers will see more of Phil sticking at Weatherfield. What could be his connection with other characters in the soap? Could Phil have other motives for getting closer to Fiz?
