Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Fiz and Tyrone welcome a new addition to their family. In the upcoming episode of the longest-running soap, the newlywed worries about Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan), who is still interested to know more about her late father’s murder story.

Thinking about some ways to help the child, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) decide to take Hope to a pet store. As a result, the three of them go home with a new member of their family – Cilla the chinchilla.

At first, the matriarch didn’t appreciate the idea of having a rodent inside their home. However, she sees Hope having a great bond with her little buddy, so she welcomes the pet into their lives. Moreover, she is hoping that it would be a big help for her child to divert her attention from John Stape.

Later in the week, their thoughts about the new addition might change when Fiz and Tyrone arrive home for an afternoon nap. The couple will be welcomed with a stinky smell of chinchilla poo.

In his recent interview, Iain MacLeod hinted that Hope Stape would become one of the challenges in Fiz and Tyrone’s marriage. “Hope develops a toxic curiosity about John that leads to fairly interesting blackly comedic territory. She becomes slightly obsessed in a way that causes problems for Fiz and Tyrone,” he told Digital Spy. Moreover, he teased that the couple would encounter an interesting way to deal with the child’s behavior, which involves a chinchilla.

Previously, the viewers knew that Hope started to show some unusual behavior when she discovered the truth about her late father, John. The youngster was also involved in trouble in school when she asked the other students for an amount of money to pay for their seats. Meanwhile, she overheard some students who uttered mean words about her.

As a result, Hope got her backpack and raised the hammer she got from Tyrone’s toolbox. She then reenacted John Stape’s murder to Charlotte Hoyle (Becky Hindley). Her violent behavior led Hope to be suspended from school for a week.
