Peter is left unsure how to proceed so he goes to Tricia. He admits that he’s considering taking the money. He considers taking the offer even more when she reveals that she has no new evidence to offer against Mr. Thorne.

Later on, Carla tells Peter to be grateful for his health and to just move on as they await GMC’s verdict on Mr. Thorne. But things escalate quickly. Peter and Mr. Thorne meet in the pub, which leads to a confrontation.

Mr. Thorne tells Peter not to undo everything that he has achieved in his work. He wants Peter to move on after getting a second chance at life. Peter becomes furious. He loses his temper and attacks Mr. Thorne.
