Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Sarah Barlow accepted Carla Connor’s offer and made her way back to the lingerie factory.
In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) decided to leave the Underworld due to the stress she constantly got under the management of Carla (Alison King).
She then encouraged Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) to work with her in establishing her own company. Moreover, she also asked for some financial help from her uncle Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) to get her business started.
However, their plans were cut short when Carla found out about their secret job. She got frustrated after knowing that the two were using her resources and company to start with their own. Things got worse when the manager realized that Sarah and Michael planned to get a deal with businessman Rufus.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Sarah Barlow Asks Apology To Carla Connor
Despite their betrayal of the company, Carla was still willing to welcome Sarah back to the Underworld only if she will ask for forgiveness. On the other hand, the manager approached Stephen and ordered him to let Rufus sign the contract. When the iconic villain made his way to the businessman, a problem arose when Rufus fell to the floor as he got overdosed on an illegal substance.
Meanwhile, when the paramedics came to send the man to the hospital, Rufus’ sex worker, Candice, came to the scene and forces Stephen to pay what she owed. Later that day, Stephen visited the businessman at the hospital and got him to seal the deal after he threatened him to release the voicemail from Candice talking about her job with Rufus.
Back in the Underworld, Stephen gave Carla the signed contract as the latter warned him to never do any form of shenanigans in her company. On the other hand, Sarah apologized to the Underworld manager and immediately went back to her work.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Tina O’Brien Shares Thoughts About Sarah Platt Involving In Stephen Reid Story
In other news, Tina O’Brien expressed her thoughts about her character being close to the two-time murderer, Stephen Reid. Sarah was known to have a huge respect towards her uncle, and it would be a problem if she will come to realize all of Stephen’s crimes. When asked if she will be safe being around the villain, O’Brien didn’t agree with the idea.
“I don’t think anybody is safe. If he winks at me funny, I’m going to panic and start running from the building! Sarah is one of the closest people to him, so if she finds out, she might be the next one to go,” the actress told Inside Soap.
