Coronation Street Spoilers: Tim And Sally Metcalfe Start To Feel The Romance Again

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that the popular married couple, Tim (Joe Duttine) and Sally Metcalfe, (Sally Dynevor) will soon feel the heat of their love in the upcoming episodes of the soap.

Since Tim Metcalfe underwent a triple bypass operation, his intimate connection with his wife, Sally Metcalfe, has started to go downhill. In the previous episode, the couple constantly lost their intimacy with each other, so they decided to go to a sex therapist. Tim was hesitant at first, but Sally convinced her husband to give it a try.

However, it seemed like their marriage got worse when Tim felt awkward opening up and didn’t want to cooperate with the exercises. When their therapist advised them to go on a date like it was their first time, it still didn’t end great when Sally felt like her husband was more focused on Ed talking about his misunderstandings with Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) than being with her.

It seems like the rough days of the husband and wife have come to an end when Tim surprises Sally with a romantic birthday breakfast in next week’s episode. After their sweet meal, Tim suggests spending some relaxing time in the tub. While the pair is having the time of their lives, the man starts to feel his libido awakening, which leaves Sally excited.

Later in the week, Sally tells her husband to listen to Sting’s interview about tantric sex as it might help them to have a successful love life. Tim then prepares another romantic meal and feels like everything is going back to normal.

When asked about their storyline, Sally explained the kind of relationship her character and Tim have in the soap. “They are a very sexual couple. They’re the first to leave a party to get home, and then since Tim’s bypass, things have gone downhill for them. I think it’s been really, really difficult for them,” Dynevor said as documented by Digital Spy.

According to the actress, her character continues to encourage her onscreen husband and do things for them to be back with intimacy again, and finally overcome the difficult days of their relationship.
